This is my website within 24 hours of being created. I can't believe so much
time has passed since then. I was a completely different person... Also what is
with the 2002.. that doesn't make sense lmfao I was born in 2000. I think I was
just nostalgic for that year at the time? Probably was watching Degrassi TNG
season 2 at the time...
I used to spend so much time working on my website any chance I could get at
school. I had a journal that I would draw and write all of my ideas for the site
in instead of doing school work. Sometimes I wish I could go back, but things
were so chaotic then.

A little bit of time had passed since I made my site and it was slowly coming
together. I remember I used a different guestbook service at the time that was
so ugly and glitchy and couldn't be saved on the Internet Archive. I'm glad I
ended up switching to SmartGB.

This was the first style I had for my website that I really enjoyed and used
for a while. I remember sitting in my 5th period AP design class working on this
pretty much everyday. Browsing gifcities.org or the internet archive while
listening to music. Those were some good times.

2019 was when I started experimenting with different styles for my website.
My site went through a lot of phases before I stuck with the Myspace layout a
few months after this. This one was cute, it's similar to the last layout.
This is around the time that I created The Vault. It only had a handful of
sites on it at the time and stayed like that for a while before I eventually
took down the link until THIS YEAR. I am a lazy bitch.

This one was nice. I think I was inspired by an old Geocities page that I
found.
Omg I forgot about my "relax in the past" / "go back in time" section. That
was just a few different pages with repeating background tiles & a graphic in
the middle of the page. Each one had a different track in the background and I
made it so that I could have something cool to look at when I would smoke a bowl
at my computer.
here's a LINK to that page. There's only 4. Maybe I should make more...

this one is interesting. It's based off of the last one but ... idk. I
don't think I kept this one for very long and I can see whyyy. It's not that
cute.

This was the first iteration of the Myspace layout! It's crazy that it was 4
years ago... I remember at the time I had recently spoken to my mom about the
social media that she used in the early 2000s. She had told me about this
website called Picrave that was popular around 2000-2004. She said it was
supposed to be really big until Facebook came around. You should look it up on
the internet archive, it's a really cool site to explore.
Anyways, she mentioned that she was voted the #1 girl at one point and after
some searching I was able to find her profile and she was not lying lmfao. Her
username was like tat2dgirlee or like tat2dinhouston or something. I should make
a page dedicated to how cool picrave was! ANYWAYSDYASHYDAWY ... the moral of
this story is I found her profile on there and found the link to an archive of
her Myspace page in 2004. I thought it would be cool to use it in my own way for
my website so that's exactly what I did!
It was SO BARE. So much empty space... I really thought I ate that at the
time too lmfaooooo. It's cool to see how it has grown from then until now.

This is when it started looking a bit better. Still no background or much
graphics but it was cute. That was when I first joined the new web webring. I
remember thinking that it was so cool. When I used to browse the internet
archive I would see all of the different webrings that used to exist and would
long to be part of one, and then it happened! And now it's dead, I think.
I really loved that playboyz finest graphic.. I kept it there for a while.
And the little beeper graphic that I found on gifcities and then edited on
photoshop to say "Sign my guestbook!" I love it, I still use it and don't think
I'll change it anytime soon.

Omg... life right before covid. I miss these days a lot. Fresh out of high
school, still in college, unemployed, having the time of my life with friends.
This feels like a decade ago. It's still crazy that it was 3 years ago though. I
remember at that time I thought covid would be a short little thing... little
did I fucking know!
This is when I was going clubbing like every weekend, sometimes multiple
nights in a row. I was always smoking and playing games, which hasn't changed, I
just have a job and bills now. I still lived with my grandparents, my grandma
was still alive. I can't believe how much things have changed.

This was a couple months into covid. Life was boring but okay. I stopped
caring about school work and spent a lot of time playing games and hanging out
with friends. We couldn't really do anything other than go to each others
houses. I made cookies like twice a week. This was also around the time I
started doing acid again. I don't miss this time too much!

Honestly late 2020 is a blur, I couldn't tell ya what was going on. I missed
the club a lot and was still playing games all day everyday.
I think 2020 was when I went months without updating my site, I really
neglected it that year and in the early months of 2021.

This is around the time I first played Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
which took control of my personality for a while. I was obsessed with vampires
again because of it. It was also around the time where I stopped caring so much
about how I presented myself and started experimenting with different ways of
expressing myself.
I started painting my nails around this time which ended up being the cure to
my nail biting problem. It was crazy, as soon as I started painting them,
I stopped getting the urge to bite them and haven't thought about doing it again
since.
I also started dying my hair black regularly which was so bad for my hair. I
stopped doing that sometime in 2022.
I think this was around the time that I flew to see my mom during the height
of covid... dumb decision but nothing bad happened, luckily. I stayed w/ her in
NM for a few weeks, it was a good trip. I miss her.
I also got my first job at KFC around this time! I don't miss that place.

I kind of miss this era of my life a lot. 2021 was a really good year for me.
This was right before I went to New York alone for the first time. That trip was
a major point in my life so I look at things pre new york and post new york.
Anyways, I was doing acid regularly. This is
also around the time that I discovered my favorite show in the world, MTV's
Downtown. I have watched it so many times that I could close my eyes and watch
it from start to finish in my head. I highly recommend it to everyone.
I would drop acid around 9/10pm and put on the first episode of Downtown in
the background while I played games with friends and would keep it playing
during the whole trip. Sometimes i'd watch Daria, Liquid Television, or Aeon
Flux. I was really into old MTV shows then.
I think this is also RIGHT before I broke the shower nozzle in my bathroom
which caused water to bubble up through the floorboards in my room... that was a
MESS. I had to stay in my old bedroom for a few months until everything got
fixed. It was chaos!
I also think this is around the time that Numbers reopened??? I can't
remember exactly when but I think it was sometime in 2021. I remember my friends
at the time and I being so sad about how different things were there. Just the
overall feeling, and the people there. I miss the pre-covid Numbers days...
This was a few months before I turned 21. Things at home started getting bad
in the months after this point w/ my grandma getting dementia and falling all of
the time and my grandpas Alzheimer's getting worse. Late 2021 was rough.

I just realized that I have been using the same .. bar thing.. at the top
since 2021.. The "hopeless romantic, south beach, friday" one. Maybe it's time
to make a new one.

Things in my life started getting a lot better around this time. I
reconnected with my boyfriend in October, I went to New York again exactly a
year after my 1st trip but this time with my 2 good friends from high school,
and I started making a serious plan to move out. Or at least laid the groundwork
for those plans.

This was a special little index page I made for my 22nd birthday. I'll
probably use it again for my 23rd. Which is insane.. how am I about to be 23?
Anyways..
This was right before I quit KFC and started working at Family Dollar. I
can't believe that was almost a year ago. Time has gone by FAST this year.

I like the background on this one, it creeps me out.
This is right before I moved out. Nothing crazy was happening around this time. Just
working a lot and hanging out with friends.

And this was just a few months ago! This layout was cute. The background is a
pic I took of my stuffed animals lined up under my window.
I wonder what my website will look like in the future. How long will I keep
up with it? Will I ever switch up my index page? I guess we'll see..
Thank you for checking this out! I guess
I'll see you here when I do this again in another 5 years for my 10 year
anniversary. eek.
Made by Bryce! I hope u liked it <3
